Electronic Arts announced today at EA Play the reveal of Origin Access Premier, subscription service akin to the Xbox Game Pass that releases new PC titles for free. The new package was announced at EA PLAY at E3 2018, and will include brand new games like Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 and Battlefield V. Origin Access Premier unlocks unprecedented levels of choice and value for players who love PC games.
"For the first time in a subscription, you're getting new games like Madden NFL 19, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, Battlefield V and Anthem", Andrew Wilson, chief executive officer at the company, says of the subscription plan, "and full access to more than 100 games from EA and other publishers with a single membership".
Madden NFL 19 is available to pre-order right now.
EA didn't provide any specifics on how much the service will cost, and only mentioned that it will be launching later this summer. The biggest addition will be instant access to new games as they release.
10 percent discount in the Origin Store on full games, pre-orders, expansions, Federation Internationale de Football Association points, and more.
So, how does EA Origin Access Premier (and yes, it really is that clunkily-worded, and yes, the lack of an "E" at the end of "premier" is definitely making my eye twitch a little) differ from the base version? No limited time trials. We have included a trailer for the game for you to check out. Play the full game starting five days before launch without purchasing it separately, until you cancel your Premier membership.
