Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched its latest flagship device, the Honor 10 globally, including in India at an event in London. In terms of design, it looks similar to the Huawei P20 series, but some of its specifications are different.
The smartphone has horizontally placed dual camera setup with a 16 MP RGB sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 24 MP secondary monochrome sensor with an f/1.8 aperture.
Due to the fact that in the flagship smartphone Huawei Honor 10 it was chose to establish a "unibrow" (a kind of cutout in the top of the screen), the aspect ratio of its display is non-standard 19 to 9.
The Honor 10 is a phone made out of metal and glass, it does sport a display notch, and it has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner below its display, its fingerprint scanner is not under the display, but it is under the glass, and it is usable even if your hands are wet.
This feature is supported by the industry-first Semantic Image Segmentation technology, which allows the Honor 10 to identify multiple objects in one single image. The front camera houses a 24MP sensor. The device is powered by company's own a 2.4GHz octa-core HiSilicon's Kirin 970 processor, which is the most advanced Chipset of Huawei. While one sensor takes colour shots, the other takes the same shot in black and white. If you exchange an old smartphone to purchase the Honor 10, you will be able to get up to Rs.5,000 extra over the regular exchange value on select devices.
The new Honor 10 comes out with a metal and glass case, Huawei's own powerful SoC and a large screen that covers nearly the entire front panel in 19:9 format. It takes 22 real-time scenes. The main camera is capable of recording native 4k videos at 30fps and can also shoot slow-motion 720p videos at 960fps. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. "It's also one of the most attractive phones in the premium phone segment and we are excited to launch it on Flipkart". It is here where the Honor 10 really stands out from the crowd. Anyone wishing to buy Honor 10 in Russian Federation can already pre-order from may 15.
The Honor 10 was launched last month in China and was offered in two variants - 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage.
The battery is quite powerful, 3,400 mAh, and the new Honor 10 runs Android 8.1 Oreo. Additionally, there are other offers like no cost EMI on Bajaj Finserv cards valid on 16th May only.
