ESPN reports that the "Nice for What" rapper, 31, and the National Basketball Association star, 33, went head-to-head on Tuesday, May 1, during halftime at Game 1 after Perkins was allegedly bashing former teammate Serge Ibaka.
Whatever the two were fighting about didn't get settled in-game and carried over after the Cavs' emotional overtime win.
Perkins didn't hear exactly what he said, ESPN adds, but he knew it was something slick, and he responded to Drake with, "Sit you're a** down and watch the game". It's not clear what the cause of their argument was, but it's clear that neither Drake nor Perkins were very happy with one another. "So I said something back to him".
In a comment on an Instagram post Tuesday night, Drake claimed, "I just said I like the hem on his capris".
During the game, Drake was jawing with his friend LeBron James and other Cavs players throughout the whole night and appeared at one point to nearly walk onto the court during the game with James mouthing back.
This isn't the first time that Drake has had a contentious feud with players of opposing teams.
But the story of the game may have been the two small altercations between the rapper Drake - a loyal Raptors fan and team ambassador - and Kendrick Perkins, a 33-year-old veteran Cavs center. "I'm fine", Perkins said with a smirk, per ESPN.
Drake was sitting in his usual courtside seats when Perkins walked by, this is when things began getting a little rowdy and in this video you can clearly see Drake progressively getting worked up.
