Underwood, who has yet to demonstrate the full image of her face since her November 10 accident when she dropped down the measures of her Nashville residence, causing her to have significantly more than 40 stitches, confirmed that she'd formally launch her face at the ACM Awards in vegas.
The last time she hinted at a performance was last week when she shared another shot of herself during rehearsals.
"Getting ready for the weekend...#CryPretty #ACMawards". At the Billboard Music Awards in 2014, she performed "Something Bad" with Miranda Lambert and looked beyond fierce in her skintight, black leather shorts which she paired with a leather jacket and dark makeup. In the post, she writes of working with writer/producer David Garcia - who's worked both with Christian country artists as well as Florida Georgia Line - and said he's co-producing her forthcoming album with her. And my face has been healing pretty nicely as well. McEntire has now returned and she told Us Weekly that, "Since I had turned that duty over to Blake [Shelton] and Luke [Bryan] and then Luke and Dierks [Bentley], they just came back around and asked if I would be interested". She called it a silver lining to the fall.
"Occasionally I think in order to make us decelerate things happen. It also means I've been home to support my favorite hockey player coming out of retirement!"
The other photos of the Carrie Underwood's face were from a distance or a side profile. She is the current record holder for most consecutive wins for female vocalist of the year; this year her competition in the category includes Underwood, McEntire, Morris and Kelsea Ballerini.
