The Swedish superstar forward kicked off his career with LA Galaxy in style, netting two spectacular goals in just 20 minutes to beat Los Angeles FC 4-3 in his debut in US Major League Soccer on Saturday.
Ibrahimovic, 36, showed little signs of rustiness when he helped his team to come back from 3-0 behind, scoring the equaliser and winning goal for Galaxy on Saturday, reports Efe.
Ibrahimovic, who came on as a substitute in the 71st minute, scored six minutes into his first MLS game with a dipping 35-metre shot that soared over the outstretched arms of LAFC goalie Tyler Miller.
Slack play from LAFC allowed Galaxy to pull a goal back through Sebastian Lletget in the 61st minute after dogged work from Servando Carrasco.
"The first ever derby, who comes off the bench?" Victor by 1-0 and 5-1 in its first games on the road, LAFC jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead and led 3-0 after an hour.

"If they don't know me, I will make sure that they know me", he said with a grin.
