Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro which starts at Rs 9,999 and is pegged at a higher segment. Now, the Xiaomi has officially posted several images shot on Redmi Note 5 on their Weibo page, which look stunning at a glance. The official presentation will take place no earlier than March 14. Now the company is sending out teasers ahead of the release of the Redmi 5 smartphone, for the Indian market, on March 14. They are the first mobile devices manufacturer, has full-screen displays with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is available in elegant gold, rose gold, dark gray color variants. While the company is yet to reveal many details about the device, it has now been confirmed that the Redmi 5 will be made available exclusively through Amazon India. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is expected to be priced at Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM variant and Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. The smartphone is powered by the 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.
It runs on Android Nougat with MIUI 9 on top and also comes with an IR blaster. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner which will be placed on its back panel. The e-commerce giant has put up a casual survey hinting towards what can be expected from the new Xiaomi smartphone. As far as optics go, the Redmi 5 includes a 12-megapixel sensor on the back with 1.25 micron pixels for improved photography and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Beautify 3.0 and Soft-Toned selfie light for better selfies.
