"American Airlines calls the shots", the officer said.
That's when the flight attendant can be heard saying that another attendant had asked the model if she wanted to get off the plane "and she said yes". She added, "I was standing, putting my jacket up [in the overhead bin], clearly irritable, we've been sitting here for two hours".
Jen Selter, who lives in NY and was on her way home from Miami International Airport, took to social media to post videos including one that shows a Miami-Dade police officer telling her that she has to get off the plane.
"Just like that, 5 cops coming at me".
On Saturday, Selter shared this video on Twitter in which a row appears to break out with cabin crew after she gets out of her seat on board the plane headed for her hometown of NY. She was later filmed explaining her decision, in a video posted online.
Selter's specialist, Todd Frank, revealed to ABC News of the episode on the deferred flight, "It's something a ton people can identify with".
Jen Selter, 24, was kicked off an American Airlines flight on Saturday.
"I don't understand this, you harassing her".
The fitness blogger then recorded as multiple law enforcement officials stood waiting for her to exit the plane.
Jen Selter attracts nearly 12million Instagram followers. She later shared video once she had gotten off the flight captioning a short clip with "I did nothing wrong but got kicked off the plane".
Another passenger can be heard speaking in the model's defense, accusing the flight crew of "harassing her".
Responding to the allegations, airlines authorities claimed that the model was offered accommodation and transportation but she declined. She apparently said "yes" when the crew member asked her if she wants to get off the plane.
Jen has not addressed the incident on her Twitter since posting the videos, but did say in a statement to Page Six that the experience was "humiliating". "But they shouldn't kick people of unless something is actually unsafe", reported Page Six.
