Last week, To Rome With Love star Greta Gerwig said of the 2012 Allen-directed film: "If I had known then what I know now, I would not have acted in the film".
Thursday, incidentally the same day Allen's adopted daughter Dylan Farrow reiterated claims the filmmaker sexually abused her when she was seven, Firth told The Guardian, "I wouldn't work with him again". She also said that he had been inappropriate at other times, including asking her to get into bed with him while he wore only underwear.
Farrow says Allen took her to a small attic crawl space, instructed her to lay down on her stomach and play with her brother's toy train, while he sat behind in the doorway and touched her private parts.
Allen denied the allegations, as he always has.

The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some goal. In his statement, Chalamet tellingly noted that due to "contractual obligations" he couldn't comment on the long-standing allegations against Allen. I can not begin to imagine how you have felt, all these years as you watched someone you called out as having hurt you as a child, a vulnerable little girl in his care, be lauded again and again, including by me and countless others in Hollywood who praised him and ignored you.
'I am credible and I am telling the truth and I think it's important that people realize that one victim, one accuser, matters.
He added that the claims had been "thoroughly investigated" by the Child Sexual Abuse Clinic of the Yale-New Haven Hospital and New York State Child Welfare. "They both did so for many months and independently concluded that no molestation had ever taken place". Dylan's older brother Moses has said he witnessed their mother relentlessly coaching her, trying to drum into her that her father was a risky sexual predator.
Woody Allen emerges from court in 1993 when Dylan Farrow first made her accusations.
