Winning a portion of the largest jackpot ever can cause some legal issues and unwanted advances from some who want a cut of the prize. Mega Millions tickets are offered in the same locations excluding Puerto Rico.

The chances of winning the jackpots are incredibly small, at about one in 303 million for Mega Millions and one in 292 million for Powerball. The odds of winning that one are 1 in 302 million.
