Portia de Rossi said on Wednesday she had an uncomfortable encounter with Steven Seagal during an office audition, making her the second actress to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct in the last week.
De Rossi's allegations come in the wake a claim made against Seagal by former ER and The Good Wife actor Julianna Margulies, who on Saturday told SiriusXM's Jenny Hutt that he had summoned her to a late-night audition at his hotel when she was 23.
"He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather trousers", De Rossi wrote.
"I ran out and called my agent".
Not only Marguiles, actress Lisa Guerrero also recently told the Los Angeles Times about her unpleasant encounter with Seagal when he greeted her and her female casting agent at his door "wearing nothing but a silky robe", adds the Vulture report.

The Arrested Development actress, who is married to USA talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, made the allegation in a tweet posted on Wednesday night. I got to the hotel around 10.40pm and she wasn't there and he was alone and he made sure t hat I saw his gun. Jenny McCarthy alleged in an 1998 interview with Moveline that Seagal asked her to take off her dress during an audition, which Seagal denies.
'I lived in Brooklyn, and I said, "Oh, I don't do that. And I'm here, a woman, '" Margulies recalled. "I got out of there unscathed", she said. I was never raped, and I was never harmed. "Unfazed, she replied, 'Well, I didn't know if he was your type'". "[He says] 'So, you were Playmate of the Year?' Then he said, 'Take off your dress.' I just started crying and said, 'Rent my Playboy video, you a-hole!' and ran out to the auto".
She said that Seagal looked surprised to see that she was accompanied by her casting director, but led them to another room where he insisted on sitting on an elevated throne while she recited lines from the scenes she had prepared.
