She found herself on the main roster again in 2016 but didn't get much of a push by the creative team. It's sad to see Emma go because they tried re-casting her a bunch of times but could never get the storytelling right for someone who I personally think is a pretty good performer.
Emma, whose real name is Tenille Dashwood, has been troubled from the start of her WWE career. She enjoyed a prosperous time with the yellow and black group, contesting excellent matches with the likes of Charlotte and Bayley, but she was unable to translate her potential to the main roster.
WWE also wished Young and Summer Rae the best on their "future endeavors" in a statement.
There have been rumors lately about some WWE superstars being unhappy, notably Neville and Nia Jax, as their recent absences have been well-noticed.
During a set of matches where she was expected to be squashed, Emma was surprisingly competitive in defeat versus Asuka. After a brief spell back in NXT, the Australian returned to main roster, only to be sidelined by injury.
Young made his WWE debut in 2010 on NXT and had former WWE superstar CM Punk as his "mentor". WWE reinstated her later that day. She last appeared on an August 2016 set of live events, but had been off WWE TV since July of that year. The company seemed more interested in giving her random losses or nonsensically changing her theme song to increasingly less applicable themes. Young suffered an injury earlier this year and plans for whatever creative push he would have were halted.
