"It's something that I never really wanted to talk about, because I'm just me and this is my life", he said after his performance last night. 'But the truth is, I don't really remember much of that'.
In order to combat Muniz's memory loss, his girlfriend, Paige Price, keeps a daily journal so he can look back through his memories on paper.
"It makes me a little sad", Muniz said on Dancing with the Stars this week. "Things pop back into my mind (that) I should have remembered".
"I told him not to worry about what you remember, won't you don't remember - they're still your experiences".
Most people remember Frankie Muniz as the titular character on the sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle". He, of course, doesn't think the two have anything to do with each other, saying "I'm not saying those things correlate exactly to the reason why my memory's not great". Like, I should have remembered going to Australia.
Frankie said that his most memorable year is 2017 because he is finally living a fully happy life following some memory loss.
As it turns out, his TV dad, Bryan Cranston, was also featured in the video to chat about Muniz's career and health. My job is to tell him to remember what happened on Malcolm in the Middle. It's affected both long-term memory - he doesn't remember much of Malcolm and the Middle - and short-term. Meanwhile Muniz still finds time to act, making one of his most recent appearances on the AMC series Preacher - and of course, appearing on reality TV competitions like Dancing with the Stars! "What a life for you!'" I'm happy with the decision I made to race cars and to focus on music.
According to Fox News, Muniz has endured several crashes during his racing career. "I didn't know I should remember going to the Emmys". Following the end of the series in 2006 he became a race vehicle driver, competing until 2009.
