A time-limited Gran Turismo Sport demo will be available on PS4 next week, developer Polyphony today announced.
Rounding out the GT Sport demo is the "Livery Editor", that allows players to customize their logo designs, change the color of their cars, wheels, mirrors, and more.
All in-game progress in the Gran Turismo Sport demo will carry over to the full game upon release, and all earned in-game credit (up to $1MM) and personalized garage vehicles will be transferable.
The demo will be taken down at 2pm BST / 3pm CEST on October 12, so get it while you can.
I hope you aren't burned out on racing games for the year.
In Sport mode, drivers can prove just how fast they are by putting down their fastest lap time. Arcade features three tracks: a high-speed oval called Northern Isle, a more technical track dubbed "Dragon Trail", and the Colorado rally stage for sideways, dirt-based shenanigans.
Specifically, Plus subscribers can pre-load the demo starting at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST on October 7 (2 AM AEDT on October 8) and can begin playing at 12 AM PT on October 9. You'll even be able to challenge your mates to a race, as there'll be a split-screen option for the Arcade section. This is not your traditional photo mode as each photo location contains all the light energy information of that scene, enabling to place your personalized vehicle in hundreds of real world locations. Sport has you participating in qualifying sessions against others to try and get the fastest possible times. If you don't like the stock look of your favorite auto, you can make changes in the Livery Editor.
