"But you look wonderful", Kelly said to Fonda, who was on Kelly's hour of the "TODAY" show with her costar in "Our Souls at Night", Robert Redford.
"You've been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically", Kelly said, complimenting the legend before adding, "You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit, but you look incredible". "You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit, but you look unbelievable". "And my character, Addie, in this movie, she knows there's a lot more time behind her than there is in front and she doesn't want to go down lonely and scared". You look awesome. Have you. why did you say. Good attitude. Good posture. "I was taught to think that if I wanted to be loved, I had to be thin and pretty".
But Kelly couldn't take a hint and continued her line of questioning: "Well, one of the things people think when they look at you is how wonderful you look", she said.
Then Fonda gave a sort of canned answer to the question before quickly changing the subject back to her film.
Fonda went on to speak at length about the film, delving into her character and plot details with help from Redford.
In 2015, Fonda said she was ashamed that she was so neurotically obsessed with her appearance. When you're young it can be [self-harm] and when you're older it can be plastic surgery.
Some think Megyn Kelly had plastic surgery.
"Is it true that you became a lawyer - and you became gay - because of Will?" she asked one of the fan guests.
"I've had plastic surgery". "As long as I've known Jane, she's always been moving forward and doesn't look back", says Redford.
