The Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino is the company's newest headquarters, and it will be the first time the multinational tech company uses the place for the yearly iPhone event. Apple is also reportedly planning to do away with the familiar Home button.
How can you watch the Apple event on TV? This event marks the tenth anniversary of Apple's iPhone, which of course, is a significant milestone.
We've heard all manner of rumoured names for Apple's next iPhone, and the online leakers still seem no surer of what the device will be called than before. Previous reports have also stated that Apple could launch the new model as iPhone Edition but now it looks like iPhone X could be the preferred choice. Instead of the expected sequential-assisted nomenclature of iPhone 7, iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8, we're apparently going to get iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone Editon. If so, the new 5.8-inch model, an unprecedented format for Apple, could be equipped with an edge-to-edge OLED display. However, other more productivity-based functions such as replying to a notification still require an iPhone at hand. Unfortunately for Apple, the firmware for its HomePod smart speaker contains code for iPhones which when analysed found that the iPhone 7S series will possibly have a wireless charging feature and the iPhone 8 will have a bezel-less display and 3D face scanning. Stonehearth Capital Management LLC boosted its position in shares of Apple by 0.8% in the first quarter. Deutsche Bank AG reaffirmed a "hold" rating and set a $130.00 target price on shares of Apple in a report on Tuesday, June 6th.
Some rumours point toward Apple adopting a modified two-lens layout.

iPhone users awaiting the arrival of Apple's next-generation smartphone now have a date to circle on the calendar.
A Note 8 "phablet" introduced at an event in New York City left some analysts underwhelmed by its lack of new features beyond a dual-lens camera for telephoto zoom - already available on the iPhone7 Plus. Some say that Apple may do a Samsung Galaxy S8 and stick the homepage on the back, but that is unlikely.
Typically, the new products hit the market about 10 days after the fall event.
